BEWARE

The day after Labor day I was informed that State Farm labeled me as high risk and had changed my premium to an astronomical rate.

Despite being 53 with a 100 % clean driving record, great credit score, no issues whatsoever, State Farm contacted a consumer reporting agency- Lexis Nexis and received false info from them( outdated and specifically, that I had no credit to report and made a fraud report and froze my credit for myself in 2022). All since done with.

Despite calling Lexis Nexis and then sending screenshots of parts of my Open credit file to State Farm; State Farm decided to continue to treat me as a false data point instead of a human being.

Thank God other insurance companies don't engage in practices like this because they can be truly harmful to a law abiding citizen.

I guess this is what the age of "data" looks like in the hands of corporations just out to make a buck.
I wonder how many in those countries that have "social credit scores" get penalized for false and outdated info.

Truly the most un neighborly and UnAmerican corporate business dealing I've had with an insurance agency, ever.

After finding out the devastating news of how much my insurance was going to go up, I called State Farm for a quote.
I spoke with Georgina and not only did she give me a quote, it she informed me of things I wasn't aware of to get my amount down.
She was thorough and patient and offered me a great quote as well as the addition of home rental insurance.
